2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you open the website, the web server automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser (server log files). This includes in particular the IP address, date and time of the request, the requested file, the status code, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The retention period of the log files is determined by the hosting provider.

When you open the start page, the server also evaluates your browser’s language setting (Accept-Language) in order to forward you to the matching language version (German or English). The value is processed only momentarily for this purpose and is not stored by me. The legal basis is likewise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contact by e-mail

If you send me an e-mail, I process your e-mail address and the information in your message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete the data once your request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This website does not set any cookies itself and does not use analytics or tracking services. The fonts DM Sans and Playfair Display are loaded from this server. No data is transmitted to font providers such as Google when you open the website.

5. External links (Rasurapp, LinkedIn)

This website contains links to Rasurapp (rasur.app) and to my LinkedIn profile (linkedin.com). These are plain links, not embedded content. You only leave this website when you click a link; without a click, no data is transmitted to these sites. The operators of the linked sites are responsible for the processing of data there, and their privacy policies apply.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). To exercise your rights, an e-mail to the address above is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
